At Lioness Beauty Salon, our skilled henna artists create intricate, flowing designs using 100% natural, organic henna paste that is safe for all skin types. We never use black henna or chemical additives. The result is a rich, deep brown stain that develops over 24 to 48 hours and lasts one to two weeks depending on placement and aftercare.
From traditional Arabic henna with bold floral patterns and negative space to detailed Indian bridal mehndi covering full hands and feet, to modern minimalist line designs and geometric patterns, we tailor every design to your style, occasion, and preference. Walk-ins are welcome, or book ahead for bridal and event henna.

What to Expect
A relaxing, creative experience from design selection to finished art.
Design Consultation
Share your occasion, style preference, and any reference photos. Your artist discusses placement, size, and design complexity with you.
Henna Application
Your artist hand-draws the design directly onto your skin using a fine-tipped henna cone. The paste is applied in precise, flowing lines.
Drying Time
The henna paste needs to stay on the skin for 30-60 minutes to allow the dye to transfer. Relax, sip some tea, and let the paste set naturally.
Reveal & Aftercare
Once dry, the paste is gently removed to reveal a light orange stain. Over the next 24-48 hours, the colour deepens to a rich, dark brown.

Get the Darkest, Longest-Lasting Stain
Follow these tips to maximise your henna colour and longevity.
Keep the Paste On Longer
The longer you leave the dried henna paste on your skin, the darker the stain. Ideally, leave it for 4-8 hours or overnight for the richest colour.
Avoid Water for 24 Hours
Do not wash the area for at least 12-24 hours after removing the paste. Water stops the oxidation process that darkens the stain.
Apply Lemon-Sugar Sealant
A light dab of lemon juice mixed with sugar over the dried paste helps seal it to the skin and produces a darker, longer-lasting result.
Keep Warm
Heat helps henna stain develop. Hovering your hands over warm steam (not direct heat) after application deepens the colour.
Moisturise Before Washing
Apply a thin layer of coconut oil or balm before your first wash to create a barrier that protects the stain from soap and water.
Avoid Chlorine & Exfoliants
Swimming pools, scrubs, and harsh soaps fade henna quickly. Minimise exposure to extend the life of your design from 1 to 2 weeks.
